11 Best Hotels in the Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada

A glamorous city that needs no introduction, Las Vegas is full of amazing experiences at every corner. This desert oasis is most notorious for gambling, clubbing, and fancy dinning. But there is so much more to this decadent utopia. Las Vegas Boulevard, AKA the strip, is lined with extravagant hotel resorts and casinos. Each one has a unique vibe that is expertly portrayed. The endless list of hotels to choose from may leave you a bit overwhelmed. I would recommend walking through as many of the luxury themed resorts as possible. But if you are strapped for time, here are the 11 absolute must see hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard.

11. LINQ

The LINQ has tons of exciting activities like ziplining, virtual reality adventures, and the prominent High Roller observation wheel. Buy a ticket for the Happy Half Hour event for an open bar ride with some killer views. Only 30 minutes to drink as much as you can!

10. Cosmopolitan

Las Vegas’ signature meal is probably breakfast/brunch buffets scattered around every hotel (or the shrimp cocktail). The Cosmopolitan is one of the classiest luxury hotels on the strip. Wicked Spoon has to be one of the best buffet spots on the entire strip. With an eclectic mix of high quality flavors, I highly recommend checking it out. There is also a large selection of bars and clubs but one of my favorites is The Chandelier Lounge. Enjoy some tasty (but expensive) signature drinks in this multi-leveled giant chandelier.

9. Luxor

The Luxor has interesting exhibitions like the Bodies exhibition and Titanic Artifacts, plus even more shows with famous performers. But one of the coolest things about the Luxor is the hotel itself. The outside is a sphynx and a large pyramid that emits a bright light from the top. The inside is an Egyptian inspired tomb. It’s fun just admiring the intricate design. There’s a monorail inside the hotel that can take you to a few other resorts on Las Vegas Blvd too.

8. Paris Las Vegas

The beauty of Las Vegas is that you can see a plethora of worldwide landmarks in just a few hours. Paris Las Vegas is an elaborate duplicate of the famous French city. Ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower and dine on authentic French cuisine at this fancy resort. Visit the Eiffel Tower viewing deck during the day for a discounted price.

7. Mandalay Bay

Embrace the fiery heat of Las Vegas in the man-made beaches at Mandalay Bay. It even has a giant wave pool and day clubs to keep the party going non-stop. Head to the shark reef aquarium to admire some of the fearsome aquatic life below. When you’re ready to chill out, grab a drink at the Minus5 Ice Bar experience. Everything from the furniture to the cocktail glasses are created from ice! Pretty cool (okay last icy pun). Another amazing Cirque du Soleil show inspired by Michael Jackson is featured here as well. Stop by the lobby for another shot with the notorious Michael Jackson statue.

6. Mirage

The Mirage has all sorts of amenities to make you at one with nature. Witness a diverse blend of tropical plants, A secret garden with exotic animals, and a massive volcano. Check out blazing pillars of fire and explosions accompanied with music at this smoldering spectacle. The volcano erupts nightly at 8, 9, and 10 pm. If you’re looking to enjoy a Cirque du soleil performance, The Beatle’s Love is definitely a treat. If you want to start the night with some delicious frozen drinks, check out the Rhumbar.

5. Stratosphere

Located at the northern-most part of the strip lies The Stratosphere. This soaring tower includes an observation deck, thrilling rides, and even bungee jumping. Experience the extreme Skyjump to plummet 855 feet to the neon strip below. If you stay at their hotel, you get a decent discount on tickets. Gain some extraordinary perspectives from the heights of the observation deck, the highest point on Las Vegas blvd.

4. Caesar’s Palace

Caesar’s Palace is a sprawling Roman themed hotel. This opulent resort is filled with tons of sculptures, fountains, and an ancient Rome ambiance. Head to the Forum Shops if you’re in the mood for some exuberant shopping. Be sure to watch the Fall of Atlantis show at the Core of Caesar’s Palace. This free animatronic display shows the epic chronicle of Atlantis every hour on the dot from 11am to 10pm.

3. New York-New York, Las Vegas

Even the Empire State makes an appearance on the Las Vegas skyline. The New York-New York hotel is lined with all the iconic landmarks of the city that never sleeps. The Empire State building, a Statue of Liberty, and even a roller coaster that goes around it all. Inside you can meander around the neighborhoods of old New York, with a dueling piano bar and loads of NYC inspired food. Stop by the Big Apple arcade to play some retro games and other fun activities! There is also another great Cirque du Soleil, Zumanity, if you’re in the mood for a provocative performance.

2. Venetian

The Venetian is probably the most romantic resort in Las Vegas. Another Italian inspired hotel boasts a charming atmosphere that is perfect for strolling around and shopping. The most notable amenity is the gondolas streaming through the fluorescent canals. Bring a date and take an exclusive voyage through the Grand Canal while being serenaded by Italian songs.

1. Bellagio

Located right in the heart of Las Vegas blvd, is The Bellagio Hotel and Resort. A luxury hotel with beautifully crafted art at every corner. Head to the elegant Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden for Japanese inspired gardens and fountains. The Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is an exquisite art exhibition with one of my favorite displays of all time; the Infinity Mirrors. Walk through this Eden of eternity for an impressive light display. The Bellagio also has a pretty good buffet restaurant, although it’s a bit pricey. By far the most inspiring event is the Fountains of Bellagio. Basque in the glory of this aquatic light show choreographed to enchanting music of multiple genres. No matter how many times you see it, the Fountains of Bellagio remain a symphony of euphoria. Here are the nightly hours for the eloquent show.

Sin city is filled with much more surprises than just gambling and partying. Each of the hotels on the strip have their own unique atmosphere to indulge. Whether you are seeking thrills or relaxing in luxury, Las Vegas has It all. I hope you get to make it to each resort and witness the magic they hold. Thanks for reading and keep leveling up!
